About the Role

The Operations Director manages overall operations and is responsible for the effective and successful management of labor, productivity, quality control and safety measure as established and set for the Operations Department. Enhance the operational procedure, systems, and principles in the areas of manufacturing, rental, storage, deployment, field crew and design.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity; quality, and customer service standards; resolve problems; complete audits; identify trends.

Forecast requirements, prepare an annual budget, schedule expenditures; analyze variances; initiating corrective actions.

Manage procurement processes and coordinate material and resources allocation.

Develop operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements; develop processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management and shipping.

Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal and OSHA regulations.

Review and approve all operational invoices and ensure they are submitted for payment.

Communicate customer issues with operations team and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaints.

Work closely with GM and management team to set and/or implement policies, procedures, and systems and to follow through with implementation.

Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

7 + years of leadership/management experience preferred.

Bilingual English and Spanish required.

Prior management or supervisory experience required.

Experience in events, equipment rental, or construction type industry preferred.

Strong experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).

Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen if required.
